The need for religion - learning about love

I think alot about the value that religion has to people. The vast majority of the people on earth today totally devote their life to a religion.

I ask myself what the religion brings to them in their life? The main thing must of course be a sense of meaning to their life, that they can justify their actions on the base of religious tradition and values.

At the same time I wonder why there has to be religious scriptures for this? Can't you justify your actions on the base of love and solidarity? Is there really any true difference in the core of different people's souls?

Ok, I am ramblin alot at the moment! I realise it is easy for me to sit here and judge religion. I have grown up in a stable and secure society where the need for religion to bring meaning to my life hasn't been needed.

But I am stubbornly proclaiming that the only religion that is needed can be found within each person's heart and soul.

Behovet av religion - lära om kärlek

Jag tänker mycket på det värde som religionen har för människor. Den stora majoriteten av människorna på jorden idag helt ägna sina liv åt en religion.

Jag frågar mig vad religion innebär för dem i deras liv? Det viktigaste måste naturligtvis vara en känsla av mening i sina liv, att de kan motivera sina handlingar på grund av religiösa traditioner och värderingar.

Samtidigt undrar jag varför det måste finnas religiösa skrifter för detta? Kan du inte motivera dina handlingar på basen av kärlek och solidaritet? Finns det verkligen någon verklig skillnad i kärnan av olika människors själar?

Ok, jag Ramblin mycket just nu! Jag inser att det är lätt för mig att sitta här och döma religion. Jag har vuxit upp i ett stabilt och säkert samhälle där behovet av religionen för att få mening med mitt liv har inte funnits behov.

Men jag envist påstår att den enda religion som behövs finns i varje människas hjärta och själ.
